With the case work done it was time to prep the new oil pump for the full-flow system. The outlet hole is tapped and this Allen plug (supplied by Gene Berg Enterprises ) was installed with green Loctite.

Tracy installs the pump over the paper gasket after treating the gears with assembly lube.

You can see the new oil outlet on the Berg pump cover. The oil will flow out of the fitting in this cover to the filters and then back to the other brass fitting in the case.
