So we center punched it and made one.  It's better now but as with so many other things on this car, we're not there yet.

After a 1,000 mile break-in period for the new piston rings and oil pump, we dumped the Valvoline and made the big switch to Amsoil. Here I am pouring oil into the motor for the last time?!     Post Note:  We changed the oil again after I ran Haifisch to Ohio & halfway back with oil temps above 230 degrees!  I also came to realize that we forgot to run the Amsoil engine flush

through the motor before making the switch.  Amsoil cleans the engine so thoroughly that it's recommended to flush the engine with a solvent to get most of the crud out of the motor at the beginning so it doesn't load up the filters.
